There are several ways to find a responsible Whippet breeder.
The first is to visit your country’s breed parent club website (such as The American Whippet Club) and find breeders who are local to your area. Another way is to attend local dog shows and introduce yourself to breeders once they have finished showing their dogs. This will also give you an opportunity to meet a variety of adult Whippets. You can also join Facebook groups that are moderated by conscientious breeders. There are also international Whippet Facebook groups to find registered puppies. Most Whippet breeders know each other and can refer you if they do not have any available Whippets. Don’t be afraid to ask them for referrals and feedback!
